National Lampoon's Cattle Call is a comedy about a group of friends who start a fake casting agency in Hollywood to meet women.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie, American Wedding, The Rules of Attraction), Jenny Mollen (Return of the Living Dead 5: Rave to the Grave, WB's "Angel"), Andrew Katos (Push), Deidrich Bader (Napoleon Dynamite, Ice Age, Office Space) and Nicole Eggert (Baywatch Hawaii, Blown Away, Siberia). Cameos by Jonathan Winters and Paul Mazursky.
Richie Rey appears to have it all - wealthy, single and successful. His musician friend Sherman Oaks proposes to start the "agency" and convinces Richie to fund the enterprise. They place an advertisement in a popular actor's magazine where they describe the part they are casting to conveniently reflect the perfect woman each of hem is looking for. With a tremendous response, the three friends are forced to engage in the process of making a film, something none of them have any experience doing.
After complaints from women who do not make the cut, the guys are left with no option but to actually make the film or better yet, creating the illusion they are making one. Unbeknownst to them, the women launch a devious plot to outwit the men in a twisted out-of-left-field surprise ending.
